It would be nice to see more of Shadowrun as a set-up: given its focus on sandbox gameplay, and the incredibly frustrating way the character systems are designed to set up a world of sandbox rules, a set-up may be one of the more enjoyable but time consuming pursuits for fans of the series – and it would seem to me that people who aren’t interested in sandbox gameplay are largely forced to spend many hours doing something that simply doesn’t run smoothly on their own. They could well find additional ways to practice gameplay that maximizes their time, but I expect that it will evolve and then grow.
